I Love Those Auto Auctions!
It's better to be prepared for an opportunity and
not have one than to have an opportunity and
not be prepared.

I remember a time from my early years, before I turned 16, how much I wanted to get a car. My high school friends had gone in together and bought an old 1934 Chevy. They purchased it from the only dealership that we had in our small farm community for only $20.00. Reaching an age when a drivers license was just on the horizon, I was immediately envious. I had saved $30.00 from working out on a farm that summer so I started my own hunt for a car. My friends had bought the only car the dealer had in that price range.
I did finally find an old junker in the 1930's era on a farm, it had a dead battery and two flat tires. The farmer claimed that it was in running condition when he parked it there. He would sell it to me for $25.00. I had to ask my dad if I could buy it because, he would have to sign the title for it. The answer was a definite no. What a blow that was! I thought at the time that I had defiantly missed the opportunity of a life time. Later years I came to realize that I was in no way prepared. I could never have afforded the insurance and the fix up cost. Perhaps it was not a missed opportunity after all.
I remember how hard it was searching for that car of my dreams. Especially when I see how easy it is to find it on the web. I love looking at the auto auction sites. Today you can not only find the car you are looking for, but also can get it at your price. I have included links to a few of my favorite sites that you may enjoy also.
